Liz DeRosa

Director of Institutional Advancement
Liz DeRosa began her career at ASD in the Institutional Advancement Department in 2014, during which time she has served as Development Associate, Assistant Director, Director of Foundations, Communications & Special Projects, before moving into her current position as Director.

The Institutional Advancement Department is responsible for all ASD fundraising activities (including grants, unrestricted giving, and planned gifts); internal and external communications, community engagement, public relations, marketing and special events. Liz’s representation of the department on the Executive Leadership Team ensures alignment between the department’s goals, ASD’s mission, and school-wide communications.

Prior to joining the ASD family, Liz worked in the elder services industry. As Business Director at a home health care agency in Massachusetts, she was responsible for all business functions and client services. Prior to that position, she served as Community Development Program Director for a state and federally funded Area Agency on Aging where she oversaw the Title III federal grant program and executed internal and external quality assurance.

Since 2016, Liz has served on the Board of Directors for Hear Here Hartford, a chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America, where she and her fellow Directors strive to empower pre-teens, teens, and young adults with hearing loss.

Liz graduated Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Regis College.  She and her husband Mike are the proud parents of their daughter, Grayce, and son, Matthew.
