To our ASD Families, Thank you for your patience while we navigate the changes and disruptions to our routines. The Student Health Center will be working closely with DPH and the CDC to follow all recommendations and guidelines. We ask for your help and cooperation with the following: • If any member of your family is sick or diagnosed with COVID-19, please let the Student Health Center know by calling (860)-570-2363. Please DO NOT send your child back to ASD if the child OR a family member is sick. • Avoid crowds. • Teach and use good handwashing skills throughout the day. Wash your hands when returning from any public place and before meals. • Avoid touching your face. • Do not share food or drinks, even with your family members. If you or anyone in your family develops a fever or cough, please contact your doctor. Continue to watch the local news for updates regarding COVID-19. ASD will be in contact with families as events evolve. Please know that we understand that this is a hardship for everyone involved. Our goal is to keep people healthy with a return to normalcy as soon as it is safe for our students, staff, families, and community.
