Decorative Summer Theater Immersion Header

The National Theatre of the Deaf in collaboration with the American School for the Deaf will hold an 12-day Summer Theater Immersion Program (TIP) for deaf and hard-of-hearing teens.


WHO CAN ATTEND?

Deaf, hard-of-hearing students currently in grades 9-12.

OVERVIEW

Engage in classes, workshops, script development, rehearsals, and performances. Learn theatricalized American Sign Language, translation and acting in this hands-on opportunity. No previous experience necessary. Participants will perform at the newly constructed Rockwell Visual Communications Center on the ASD campus on August 9th.

LOCATIONS

The TIP “headquarters” is located on the campus of the American School for the Deaf. Housing will be in campus dormitories and trained dormitory staff will be in residence.
