Summer at ASD -- 2008 Contact Information Printable Registration
  The American School for the Deaf is pleased to announce its Summer Programs (3-21) and Work Experience (15+) for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and youth. As part of our regression prevention goal, all lessons incorporate literacy and math skills.

We have many programs to offer which include education and recreation opportunities. There are limited summer work opportunities for students 15 years of age and up. All programs (except Camp Isola Bella) start and end the same day. Bus dismissal is 3:00 p.m. except Fridays. Friday dismissal is 2:00 p.m.

 

Program Dates:
Classes begin: Monday, June 16 and conclude on Tuesday, July 15. (closed July 3 and 4)
(Tentative pending snow days 2007-08)

Schedule:
Classes: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Lunch: 12:00 noon – 12:30 p.m.
Recreation/Work: 12:30p.m.– 3:00 p.m.
Bus Dismissal: (M-Th): 3:00p.m.
Bus Dismissal: (Fri): 2:00p.m.


Location: All classes will be held at Cogswell Building due to campus construction.

Students are required to bring their own lunch and a swimsuit/towel each day.

If you would like your child to participate in summer programs, please complete the registration form and return to ASD by May 23, 2008.
