All Family Education Services (FES) events are open to ALL parents/families of deaf/hard of hearing children. Your child does not have to attend ASD to attend these events.

Family Education Services (FES) Upcoming Events:
2017 Spring Mothers' Weekend will take place June 2 - 4, 2017 at Camp Isola Bella in Salisbury, CT. Come join the fun at beautiful Isola Bella where mothers/guardians of Deaf/Hard of Hearing children can read, go shopping and just plain relax! NO AGENDA! NO CHILDREN! NO SPOUSES! Registration Fee is $65.00 per person. The deadline for signing up is March 26th. Click on the blue link for the flyer and more registration information.
2017 End-of-the-Year Picnic will take place on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 5:15 p.m. in the Gallaudet-Clerc Education Center Dining Room/Patio. ASD Athletic Awards will follow the picnic. Please click on the blue link for the flyer and more information.
Sign Language Classes for Parents and Families
2017 Spring Parent Day Sign Language Class will begin on April 26 and will run every Wednesday morning until May 31 for a total of 6 weeks. Classes start at 11:00 a.m. and end at Noon in the GCEC Activity Room. Adult Family members are welcome. Please click on the link for registration information.
2017 Spring Parent/Sibling Sign Language Class will begin on April 20 and continue every Thursday until June 1. Classes begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. in various rooms in the Gallaudet-Clerc Education Center. Child Care will be provided for ASD students and children younger than 4. There are two adult classes, a children's class and a teen's class. Please click on the blue link for more information.
2017 Summer Parent/Sibling Sign Classes will begin on Wednesday, July 5 and continue for 4 weeks until July 26. Classes begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. in various classrooms in the Gallaudet-Clerc Education Center. Child Care will be provided for ASD students and children younger than 4.
