On The Road (OTR) is ASD’s annual summer literacy expedition.
It is the ultimate field trip. It is hands-on, experiential learning and true knowledge application at its finest.
High school students accompany staff to various locations across the United States to learn about our country’s
rich history and its diverse cultures, landscapes, and people.
OTR is about developing literacy, teamwork, responsibility, observation, journaling, meeting people, describing experiences, and experiencing the majestic and magical places that make up our beautiful country.
