GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Online Giving

ASD is pleased to announce enhanced online giving capabilities. Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS) technology assures you that information you provide is safe and secure. As with any gift made in support of ASD, none of your personal information will be shared with any other organizations or businesses. Click here to make a donation online

Matching Gifts

Many businesses and corporations match employee contributions to ASD. Matching gifts are generally credited to the same fund as your gift and can double or even triple the impact of your gift! Some companies even match gifts given by spouses or retirees.

A match is applied for through your employer either through a paper form or an online portal. We invite you to use the directory at right to search for your employer and your spouse's employer. The directory includes more than 17,000 employer-matching programs, and many of the matching gift forms can be downloaded through the directory.

Please fill out the matching gift form and send it to:

Annual Fund

Gifts to the Annual Fund are the life blood of our school as they allow us the flexibility to direct these dollars to the programs that need it most.

Give in Honor or Memory of Someone Special

Making a tribute gift to ASD is a meaningful gesture to remember a loved one or honor someone special in your life.

Annual Golf Tournament

This tournament is our largest ongoing fundraiser, and monies raised support many programs which help prepare our students for successful and rewarding lives. For the last few years, funds from the golf tournament have benefited our vocational education programs which prepare students for entry into the workforce. For more information please contact Elizabeth Haire at (860) 570-2212 or elizabeth.derosa@asd-1817.org

2013 Combined Federal Campaign

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has approved ASD to particpate in the 2013 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) as a member of Aging and Disabilities Charities of America. The federation in the 2013 CFC will be listed as: Health & Human Service Charities of America. This campaign will kick off in September and will run through December. It is our hope that federal employees will designate a portion of their payroll to ASD (designation code 12344) as their charity of choice.
