| Scope of Duties: |
Under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor, completes varied custodial tasks involved in the cleaning and maintenance of offices, classrooms, dormitories and campus facilities. |
| Primary Duties: |
Under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor:
- Cleans classrooms, offices, common areas residence halls, dining areas and other areas to include entrances to buildings.
- Scrubs, waxes and buffs floors.
- Dusts and polishes furniture, cleans desks, chairs, tables and furniture, washes walls and other areas, vacuums.
- Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, shower rooms and locker room facilities.
- Cleans windows, takes out refuse, sweeps entryways, minor repairs, vacuums rugs, requests supplies and related custodial work.
- Lifts, moves cleaning equipment.
- Identifies and reports cleaning, health and safety issues.
- May supervise student workers.
- Other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Requirements: |
Applicants must be able to read and write; have general knowledge of housekeeping and custodial procedures. Applicants must possess or have willingness to learn sign language.
Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and furniture. Ability to work in environment with children. |
| Salary & Benefits: |
- Compensation range is specified by school salary schedule, negotiable on the basis
of experience.
- Employment is on a twelve-month basis.
- Retirement, group health insurance, and other fringe benefits are available.
